Andrew’s passion for music began at a young age. Coming from a musical family, he began to take violin and piano lessons from the age of 5. Commencing cello at age 10 under the tutelage of Matthew Albury, Andrew was offered a position at The Hunter School of Performing Arts and was subsequently awarded a music scholarship to attend Newington College after relocating to Sydney in 2010.
Andrew recently graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with a Bachelor of Music majoring in piano performance under the guidance of Dr Kirill Monorosi. Over the last four years, he has built up a diverse range of teaching experience on both the piano and cello as part of school programs as well as the running of his own private studio. He also enjoys accompanying students for their AMEB exams as well as being a choral repetiteur. Andrew delights in seeing his students succeed and believes in encouraging the musicality of each student, striving to create a fun learning environment.
