
Piano accompaniment
Angela (Doyoun) Kim graduated Santa Sabina College as music captain with a full music scholarship for piano, and completed the HSC accelerated course of Music 2 and Music Extension, receiving full marks in the Music Extension course, allowing her to be nominated to perform at the HSC Encore concert at the Opera House in February 2019. Angela is a recipient for Sydney Scholars in her Bachelor of Music (Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music along with Advanced Entry for Bachelor of Music/Commerce at UNSW.
Angela has been teaching piano, violin and accompanying students for their AMEB exams and performances for the past four years and is a highly motivated and patient individual who is looking forward to teach and guide students with excellence through passion, and initiative. Angela’s experience aligns well with encouraging music students of all ages, especially younger children, for their passion for music through improving their repertoire and the technique, whilst making it enjoyable. Her passion for teaching stems from giving people the opportunity to develop and realize their own goals and potential with music. She believes everyone can be an amazing musician as they all have their own musicality and expression.
