Elliena is an internationally recognised film composer, music artist, and performer. She started off in classical music, and over the years has learned to play 12 musical instruments! Elliena has been fortunate enough to play in orchestras in Seattle, U.S.A, in the Australian Honours Ensemble Wind Orchestra, the Queensland Symphony Orchestra in the 2018 Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony, the Australasian Trumpet Academy, and had the privilege to be interned by James Morrison. Currently, she is studying Music Education/Composition for Creative Industries at the University of Sydney’s Conservatorium of Music.
In addition, she has extensive experience in vocal performances including being a lead in the University of Sydney’s production of We Will Rock You the musical, featured soloist for Gold Coast NYE shows, and lead singer in Gold Coast Youth Orchestra’s big band.
Elliena has a strong passion for teaching music, guiding students to explore their creativity, develop their skills and discover the meaningful influence music can have on their lives.
Her passion for teaching composition is fuelled by her desire to share the art and craft of writing music for films and video games. Elliena received “Best Soundtrack Category” in the New York International Film Awards, and other nominations in various international festivals for her film score works. She is eager to share her knowledge and foster an environment where creativity and growth can thrive.
