Andrew is a jazz musician with over 15 years of experience in teaching and performance work throughout Sydney. He attended the Australian Institute of Music High School, where he studied under Sean Coffin; then went on to complete a Bachelor of Music (Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music where he studied jazz under saxophone great Dale Barlow.

Andrew is well versed across the AMEB and NSW HSC Music syllabuses and is passionate about mentoring and inspiring young musicians. He uses a variety of styles and pedagogical influences throughout his lessons, which are adapted to suit the needs of each student.

Andrew is also a well-seasoned performer, with regular performance work throughout Sydney with big bands, jazz small groups, and other ensembles, all of which he has recorded and toured with.
