Julie Sekers has over 22 years experience a Music educator, teaching children from birth to 18 years.
Julie studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music (Bachelor of Music Education) and has completed additional study in Kodaly and Orff approaches. She also holds a certificate in The First Steps in Music and Conversational Solfege methodologies with John Fierebend and has most recently studied with Anita Collins on her “Bigger and Better Brains” course: Music Advocacy and Music and Brain Development.
As the owner and Director of Bluebell Music, Julie has extensive experience in Music Education from birth to pre-school years. She is the Head of the Early Childhood Music Program at the Inner West Institute of Music is also the Early Childhood Music teacher at Moriah College. Julie also facilitates teacher training workshops at Preschools and Early Learning Centres.
In addition to bringing engaging and inspiring music lessons to children each day, Julie holds regular workshops for new mums on Musical Play at home.
As a mother of 3 children age 8, 6 and 2 she is an advocate for a Music Education in the early years.
