Piano Teacher in Sydney’s Inner West
Nelly Jacono has been teaching music for more than 40 years and offers her pupils a wealth of expertise and experience.
Originally from Odessa in the Ukraine, Nelly started music at the age of 5 and graduated university with a degree in piano teaching and choral conducting. She taught in a variety of schools and choirs in the Ukraine until she arrived in Australia in 1978 and has been teaching piano in Australia ever since.
Nelly is one of the inner west’s most established music tutors and takes pupils in piano, piano accordion, organ and music theory. Her students regularly achieve high marks in AMEB examinations and HSC examinations and many of them have won scholarships and competed in eisteddfods around NSW.
Her favourite composers are Tchiakovsky and Rachmaninov.
